you are a dummy! Every photo taken by professional photographers is photoshoped. colours, levels, saturation, noise reduction and sharpness is all done with photoshop or some other program. When you shoot images in RAW you don't have a choice. A RAW photo has to be "developed" and Photoshop is the darkroom of digital photography. Even film photos can be tricked, touched-up and altered in a real darkroom in case you didn't know.

Yeah sometimes photos are altered in photoshop and that's fine! It's art! Enjoy it!!

the slots allow the clamp to be both a clamp and a bar end. if the slot wasn't there, the clamp wouldn't work and they would have to make it a 2 piece design. Now we have 1 piece and 2 purposes. Smile

of course he looks out of contrast. I shot this photo with the background at - 1 2/3 EV so the guy at the front would pop out. I have 3 flashes setup for this shot. 1 through umbrella in front right of him, 1 through softbox in front left of him and one bare at the back from under.

It is seen in sports photography all the time!!!

nope no photoshop on this shot guys.Just a lot of runs to get the timing right.

Those fine white lines are called rim light. There is a flash behind creating those lines which makes him pop more.

it's not photoshopped. the first guy has flashes on him which makes him pop. the second has none and is out of focus because of the depth of field.

Dotca it is what we call a fake tilt shift. It is created with photoshop most of the time. It's a real photo. I've done one like this before. A real tilt shift though would have had the bottom of the photo also out of focus.

Good try though. the effect is good minus a few editing errors like the front of the truck. To get a better effect "more natural" use a wide gradient tool, the one that ads a gradient to both side though. You will get a better effect and smoother transition between the out of focus and the in focus.

that's a 2002 frame. 2004 frames have the ISCG mounts and the seat mast gusset is complete.

I cropped out only 5% of the photo in total. I was shooting with a 70-200 and I was maybe 10 feet from him. The shot was already very very tight.

(Oct 9, 2008 at 16:43) (Below Threshold) show comment
I didn't under expose this shot actually. This is how it was shot. The only editing was to make the background B&W.

I had 2 flashes for this shot, one on the side shot through an umbrella and one further behind to the right.

J-Peters, an image that combines both color and B&W is different for sure. People love it or hate it. But a lot of the times the monitor doesn't do the picture justice. Plus it has been compressed a lot to fit on Pinkbike.

it's not photo taking, it's photography. Clearly you did not study "photo taking" since you don't even know what you are talking about. And you obviously missed out in your English classes too...

Seriously people!!!!! You all sound like a bunch of uneducated 12 year olds when you make comments like that. It's pathetic!
